Fresh Powder

12.18.10 South Lake Tahoe Snow Storm

The storm brought over 20 inches of new snow to the Heavenly North area yesterday and last night. The weather was around 32 degrees for the first round of this current storm so I knew the powder would be wet.

12.15.10 New Snow Today

The warm weather and rain has melt some of the snow over the last 7 days. The temperature dropped yesterday and brought in about a foot of new snow to the Heavenly North area. We are expecting more snow over the next 5 days. Should be great skiing over the Holidays.

If you are moving to Tahoe we have an unfurnished long term rental available 1.8.11. It is located 5 minutes from the Stagecoach Lift and 8 minutes from the Boulder Lift. Visit our Long term rentals page for more information.

Freshies.... in May? New Snow Picture

New Snow In May
Yes, new snow fell yesterday and last night on Heavenly Mountain Resort. This picture was taken this morning from one of our vacation rentals near the Stagecoach Lift at Heavenly. Not sure why we are getting new snow at the end of May???? We could have used this action in March or April.

I cannot guarantee it is safe to ski or snowboard, but I can guarantee you will not have to worry about things getting tracked out.

It Will Not Stop Snowing

The snow continues to fall today after two full days of the white stuff. In the Heavenly North Area (Boulder Lift and Stagecoach Lift) of Heavenly Mountain Resort we saw 5 inches fall last night with more falling right now.

For those of you coming in this weekend bring your wide boards for the fresh powder.
