Start the hike at the Echo Chalet Resort at Lower Echo Lake and hike 2.5 miles to Upper Echo Lake.

Yesterday I finished the 22.8 mile Tahoe Rim Trail hike from Big Meadow to Kingsbury. This hike is out the door and in the backyard of where I live so access to the trailhead is very easy.
