I was able to ski 7-10 inches of new snow at Heavenly Mountain Resort today. The snow has been falling on and off for the last 2 days with more snow coming over the next 4 days. It has been colder so the new snow is much lighter.

I started out skiing the trees next to Sky Express and Canyon Express on the California side of Heavenly. I then went to the tree areas at Dipper Knob/Meteor and Stagecoach Lift. Just for fun I headed down and ended my day in the Galaxy Glades/Woods area. The mountain has great coverage in all of these areas, but you have to head into the trees for the best powder.

This was one of those days where early morning tracks were covered with new snow by the afternoon so you could get fresh tracks all day long.

I can only hope for the same situation tomorrow.
